I’m afraid that we know each other now
Sonja was born in 1976 in Zagreb. After graduating from Tituš Brezovački high school in Zagreb, she started studying Italian, Latin and Literature at the University of Zagreb. In 2008 she completed her studies of production at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb under the mentorship of prof. dr. sc. Darko Lukić, as a student of the first generation at the department. She was awarded the Rector's Award for her Master's thesis, the production of the play “Večer Erik Satiea” (“Erik Satie's Evening”) at the Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has been employed at Gavella Theatre since 1996, first as a stage manager and an organizer and, since 2004, as the executive producer of Gavella Theatre. From 1995 to 2001 she worked with the Acting Company Histrions and from 2001 until today she has regularly worked with the Ulysses Theatre.
