Filip Križan was born in Zagreb in 1987. After finishing high school in Pula he started studying at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb, where he graduated in 2010. He performed at &TD Theatre, Žar Ptica Theatre, Ulysses Theatre, Planet ART Theatre, Exit Theatre. He asl works on films and TV shows. In 2010 he received the Golden Žar Ptica (Naj, naj, naj festival) for the role of the Puss in the play Puss in Boots. He was awarded the Croatian Actors' Guild Award 2011 for best young artist under 30 in the play Mrzim istinu! (I Hate the Truth!). In 2012 he received the ''Slobodna Dalmacija'' Award (Marulić Days) for his roles in the plays I Hate the Truth! and Prolazi sve (All Goes By) as well as the award for best performance of a young actor (Festival of Bosnian and Herzegovinian Drama) in the play I Hate the Truth! and the ''Sabija Biser'' Award (Fadil Hadžić Days of Satire) for best young actor.
