Cultural journalist, translator and cultural project manager, Geanina Jinaru-Doboș has been handling projects for the Timisoara National Theatre for the past four years. Among these are the theatre magazine aTeNT (together with fellow journalist and cultural manager Ciprian Marinescu), the European Festival of Performing Arts Timisoara – New Romanian Drama Festival (for which she supervises foreign relations and secured admission in the European Festivals Association network), as well as projects initiated together with the European Theatre Convention (Theatre Youth Forum – Bad Hersfeld 2012, the Audience Development study, the Art of Ageing ). She is the author of the book “No Dogs Allowed by Rodrigo Garcia- A Rehearsal Diary” and has worked as dramaturge for various productions of the Timisoara National Theatre. She signed a number of translations for the stage (the latest is the libretto for the Disney musical "Beauty and the Beast"), and has worked on adaptations on both contemporary and classical plays (Shakespeare’s "Romeo and Juliet", directed by Rahim Burhan or "Prometheus Bound" by Aeschylus, based on an original script by stage director Kokan Mladenovici).
